Peter K. Working, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Research and Development
Peter K. Working, Ph.D., joined Cell Genesys in August 2001 and serves
as senior vice president, research and development. Prior to joining
Cell Genesys, Dr. Working was vice president of analytical and non
clinical sciences and principal scientist at ALZA Corporation. Dr.
Working has also held various positions with SEQUUS Pharmaceuticals,
where he was vice president of research and development, as well as
Genentech, Inc. where he served as a senior toxicologist and head
of the Experimental Toxicology Group in the Department of Safety Evaluation.
Dr. Working holds Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. degrees from the University
of California, Davis and the University of California, San Francisco.
He brought over 20 years of pharmaceutical research and development
experience to Cell Genesys, including 13 years in the biotechnology
industry. |
