Anniversary Awards
On their 5th, 10th, 15th and 20th years of service, employees
are recognized and appreciated at Cell Genesys. Employees receive
different service awards/gifts based on years of service.

Annual Company Events
Cell Genesys hosts a variety of company events annually, i.e.,
Day at the Ballpark, Family Picnic, Holiday Party, Health Faire,
Administrative Assistants' Retreat, etc.

Buddy Program
To help the transition into a new working environment, new employees
are paired up with a veteran employee to help familiarize them
with the company and surrounding area.

Candidate Referral Program
Cell Genesys' Candidate Referral Program is designed to encourage
employees to recommend qualified candidates. Some of our best
employees come from referrals and we pay referral bonuses to

Cell Genesys has teamed with Equity Residential Properties (www.equitycorporatehousing.com)
to offer employees substantial savings on rental properties.
Equity Residential has over 2,000 apartment communities throughout
the nation. Rental costs vary to accommodate all budgets and
lease terms are flexible. Apartments are available furnished
or unfurnished and "lease-to-own" options are also
available.

Lunchtime Seminars
The company is proud to offer many professional and personal
development seminars on a variety of business and non-business
topics presented by guest speakers. Lunchtime seminars are held
monthly @ 12 noon with lunch provided.

Special Recognition Programs
The Employee Recognition Program is designed to recognize the
special accomplishments of individuals who make exceptional
contributions to the company. Through monetary awards, gifts
and company recognition, Cell Genesys acknowledges these special
efforts. Three types of awards are offered each quarter: Exceptional
Contribution, Values In Action, and Scientific Achievement Awards.

The Spot Bonus program enables managers and supervisors to selectively
recognize and reward employees for extraordinary contributions
with cash bonuses timed closely to specific accomplishments
or events.

Tuition Assistance
Cell Genesys will reimburse eligible employees for the cost
of textbooks and tuition for pre-approved, accredited, job related
courses or programs up to $3,000 per year.

Vacation Pay
Eligible employees accrue 15 days per calendar year for up to
5 years of service time, 20 days per year after 5 years of service
time, and 25 days per year after 10 years of service time.

Volunteer Program
Like to volunteer? Employees may donate up to 4 hours of volunteer
time during normal working hours each month to an organization
of their choice, subject to certain limitations.
